URLA Shoreline Restoration Program

URLA Annual Tree and Shrub Sale is now Open

Help protect our lake by maintaining and developing a healthy shoreline. Ninety percent of all lake and river life depends on a healthy shoreline which plays a crucial role in filtering out pollutants, reducing erosion and easing flood risks on your property and lake.

By adding a natural buffer between your home and the water, you are protecting the health of our drinking water, ecosystems and shores.

All trees and shrubs available for purchase are native species selected by the Rideau Valley Conservation Association (RVCA) to enhance the health of our shoreline.

Orders will be accepted until January 15, with deliveries scheduled for May 2025.

Please note that quantities are limited and subject to change. Orders are restricted to URLA Members for private use within the Rideau Watershed under the RVCA Shoreline Naturalization Program.
